Awesome stuff...
And if you're looking for a location to hold a LARP event, I'm sure these people could help...

Looks like someone signed up for an SG account after using the link in my last entry...
So who was it? Drop me a comment (here or on my SG member page) and say Hello!

Well, here I am...

annoyed
music: 65 Days of Static-Maida Vale session
Suppose I should start off something on here. Don't know how much I'm really going to use it, as if I've got anything I need to ramble on about, I usually do it here.
(Anyone checking out that site, please also click here, as I might get me some free stuff... 8-)
So, what's been happening?
Found out today that I didn't get the job I was applying for - they apparently gave it to someone who was being made redundant from another part of the company, but who probably hadn't even applied for it. On the one hand, I can understand the plan, but I'm also not supremely happy about it - I didn't find out officicallly that they were doing that until today, and that was only because I asked them what was going on.
There's a job up for an entry-level web code monkey - wonder if I could blag that? Have to work out if I think I could persuade them I could learn to web code before I start (not that learning programming languages is that hard - just takes a bit of incentive)
OK - I"m getting more and more annoyed at trying to get this to work properly. Safari and Internet Explorer both fail to run this page properly (won't let me put in a URL in a nice, tidy link) so I grabs me a copy of Firefox (yeah, I know - I should have had a copy ages ago) and at first, it won't even let me enter any text into the main comments box, but now it won't let me enter a URL either. Maybe I can get it to work in Camino?
Nope Camino's even worse - I can't even get it to let me type anything in the comments box. Doesn't look like I'll be switching from SG to LJ any time soon. Any other Mac users out there have the same or similar problem?
Ah - just found a clever little application - iJournal. Lets me post without having to use a web browser. Can you tell I'm new at this yet??
Oh well - time for sleep...
Nighty night LJ-land...
(PS - Bonus points for anyone who can tell me where the title is from... )
